Review on ๐Ÿฅ— Cuisinart Green Salad Spinner: Efficiently Wash and Dry Fresh Greens! by Brett Robinson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This item is SMALL. A pound of vegetables is too much for him.

SIZE: To be honest I am amazed at the small size of this salad bowl. You might think a smaller size would fit me since it's just me and my husband at home. So I'm only cooking for two. But even for that it is not enough. To be honest I don't know what they were thinking when they made it so small. Maybe they should mark it "Singles Only". But even ONE POUND of greens is too much for this bowl's capacity. Even if you were single, you would have to wash your greens in batches. Who has time for this? Deducted one star for size as this product is too small to be useful to most people. SAFETY: There is a hole in the top of the lid, a nice big hole that you can easily put your finger in when turning. It's almost like pointing your finger at a running fan. You probably wouldn't lose your finger, but you might lose your fingernail. And if a child sticks their pinky inside if you're not careful, your peaceful dinner preparation could be interrupted by a sudden scream. Why did they make this hole here? Looks like a lawsuit is just around the corner. There is a star deduction for the danger factor. FEATURES: This salad bowl works well. You must be careful with this. If the inner shell is slightly warped, it won't fit when you put the lid on and you'll have to straighten it and put the lid back on. Sometimes I have to adjust it multiple times before it evens out for me. The locking clip is pretty easy to use. The handle is very comfortable, easy to turn and picks up a good speed straight away. So everything is fine. It's perfect for herbs and (really) small jobs. I gave the rest of the stars because this is a working salad bowl. Are three stars too generous? May be.
