Great price for drawer slides

Overall a good set of slides. I used them in my workshop. I loaded a 57 lb drawer and the slides handled it pretty well except they buckled when they were more than half open. I didn't test for more weight because I put a maximum of 30 pounds in it. I like the rubber lock to keep the drawer from sliding out but after all my closet is pretty shallow and so far these drawers have been pretty tight to pull out so I'm not sure if it's necessary but it's easy to accept. rubber part. I would use them again for things in the store but not sure if they will redecorate my kitchen because I'm worried about bending when you take the drawer out. And I could go closer with one. Pros: - great price for a pack of 10 - reasonable firmness - good lubrication (fingers get greasy :)) Cons: - drawer flexes when loaded and fully extended. - my fronts were 1/16" apart - about 1/8" would be needed - the rails are heavy but the steel doesn't feel too stiff - one of the width adjustment tabs pushed out and came back much easier than I expected . As such, you should probably unload the drawer before removing it to avoid twisting the slides, especially if you have wide drawers. - No installation specifications, especially for width tolerance. Aggravating. Because of this I had to design at +1/32 inch. I also had to model the drawer to see where the front of the slide should be (1/64 - 1/32 inch past the front): I used an old health insurance card as a spacer.

Pros
  • Excellent build quality for drawer slides, steel ball bearings for less noise when closing and opening
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
