This is a great product, durable and reliable. Relatively easy to install. I'm not sure about the universal mounting plate. It doesn't fit the VPL-HW40ES which has 3 mounting holes, but I found an improvised way to make it work. Another desirable improvement would be additional adjustment of the downtilt of the projector. The adjustment is about an inch, but not enough to bring it closer to the center of the windscreen. The instructions for extending the arm aren't clear at all, but I figured I should start by loosening the heavy bolts on the side arms. The instructions are marked with the numbers 1, 2, just the opposite of how it works. Another wish would be a black color option. In addition, it is very reliable for many applications.
