Works very well. I’ve used it with cold and hot milk and they both work. Super simple to use, but there is a technique. It’s needs two AA batteries (not included). Then you just click the top of the unit to turn on as you would a flashlight, and click it again to turn off. It seems the trick to getting frothy milk is to start at the bottom and move the frother upward as the milk continues to foam. It took me about 6 tries to be truly successful. Several times it the milk would start frothing and then suddenly deflate. Be patient and play with it. It takes practice. If you just leave the frothed milk sit after foaming, the foam with develop large air bubbles and deflate too so you need to pour it into coffee in short order. Rinse the spring part right away—dried milk is a pain to clean. The unit is not water proof, so don’t stand it upside down with the rod is wet.Overall it is a very effective frother and works quickly. See video
