My friend's 8 year old son recently had surgery and wanted to spend part of his summer on holiday as he is an active kid it's getting hard for him so bought him some gifts for us to keep him busy in his free time. I have made sure to purchase items that are listed for the appropriate age group. This magical set is said to be suitable for children from 8 to 12 years old, but after reading the instructions I can say that even an advanced 8 year old would have a hard time making it. Follow and pass the steps. I was a little disappointed because it ended up angering him more than it amused him. My friend and I helped and it even confused the adults a bit. However, the magic set contained some pretty cool tricks and all the products were of decent quality. I just want the difficulty level to match the recommended age range.
