When the car is hot. and I live in the southern United States, so it's hot there. I get random opening errors when opening and closing the device multiple times and the phone crashes when connected. I wasn't planning on putting the charger on a vent because I need vents. As mentioned, it's hot here, but I need to charge the device. If you install it in a window, the charger will get hot and stop charging, causing the phone overheating error to appear on the phone. I didn't have this problem with the previous mount, which only connected the phone directly to the network. These problems have rendered this accusation almost worthless. I gave two stars because the attachment is great and the suction cup is sticky and very strong. Maybe I can use it on the next device I buy.
