Good news first. We were looking for lightweight yet strong kayaks that were easy to carry and easy to get in and out of. This kayak is for you! The comfortable adjustable seat is a nice bonus. They are easy to maneuver and carry! My wife just turned 80 and sails to the water in her own kayak! Now to the only shortcoming: There is a design flaw either in the inflation valves or in the adapter supplied. It took me a long time to find out that the spring in the valve was not loosened with the adapter. If the spring is not deflated, no amount of pumping will cause air to enter the chambers. I folded up a piece of masking tape to attach to a small pole in the adapter. It took a few tries to find the right size and sticky side for it to attach and hold. It ballooned slightly after I made this change, but I wonder how many others just gave up.
