The spatula for this set is longer than usual and stiff enough to be used as a chopper. That's exactly what you need for braising at the bottom of the multicooker. The silicone scraper has the same length (good) and a strong smell of silicone (bad), even after washing in the dishwasher. I really hope this goes away - it's good for cleaning the pan now, but I wouldn't use it for eating. The pliers are terrible. The grip flares out toward the hinge, which I think some designers thought was "ergonomic," but it squeezes my palm right under my fingers if I squeeze them too hard. YMMV. All in all, this is a mixed bag.
