We are using a Samsung Odyssey G9 monitor with a resolution of 5120x1440, 240Hz, 30-bit color and HDR. By my calculations, this is similar to 8K UHD (7680 x 4320 @ 60Hz, 30-bit color and HDR). This is at the high end of DP 1.4 and wouldn't be possible without DCS. I have other DP 1.4 cables that don't fit DP 1.2 monitors. I had to go through several brands to find this cable and so far it has been solid and consistent. I have 8 of these and they all work great.
