Review on 🔓 Swing-A-Way Comfort Grip Jar Opener in Black - 7.5-Inch Tool for Easy Jar Opening by Scott Kulothungan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Двуручный открывалка для банок действительно работает, используя рычаг и захват, чтобы открывать банки без боли

И моя жена, и я находим, что это намного проще открывать банки с соусом для спагетти, что я делаю почти Every day. It doesn't require much thought and is pretty intuitive to use. This gives you a lot more leverage to open the cans than if you just grabbed them with your hand. And also holds up well. It still requires two hands, one to hold and the other to use the tool as leverage, and requires about 90% less effort. Before receiving this tool, when the lid of the jar finally came off, I had sharp pains in my wrist and felt like I was causing a repeat injury. Leverage is based on physics and allows you to use a little less effort by applying the force farther off center, much like a lower gear on a bike requires less effort to get uphill, or what any wrench actually does . It makes a very robust and well-made impression. To use, simply unfold and simply place loosely on the lid of the jar. Then move the handle to the side to eliminate any looseness and the latch under the handle will snap into the nearest hole, but do not need to be tightened at this point. Squeeze the handle with one hand to close a gap and allow two teeth to bite into the cap, even if it digs in a bit and continues to hold on. Then turn the lever with that hand while holding the jar with the other hand and it should come out MUCH easier than just your hand. If you want to put more effort into aligning and less squeezing the handle, you can insert the latch under the handle into a hole that perfectly matches your jar lid (if it fits) and when you put the lid on it will almost stay in place by itself . However, for sealed jars that haven't opened the lid yet, it's still harder but easier than doing it by hand. With a non-openable sealed lid, I find that using a fixed pin position closest to the lid and enough compression to deform the lid slightly helps break the seal and then twists easily. It leaves two tooth marks on the lid, which is still great for sealing and storing a partially used jar in the fridge. But I wouldn't use that on a lid you want to keep forever. This is for a single use jar that you will eventually use up and recycle and it is possible to warp the lid slightly. If I had one complaint, it's that the rubber grommet on the handle slips off easily, so I'm careful not to pull it out during use.
