We liked these collars because of the tear off properties and they were small enough for our 4 month old kittens. I also liked the variety of colors because we needed different colors to tell who's who. Wearing collars for 5 days and not caring what they were wearing they ALL started scratching their necks. I checked the sizing to make sure they weren't too tight but everything looked fine. After the collars were removed, everyone stopped scratching. The only thing I could see was that some of the reflector material was worn/chipped. I don't know if it was irritation or if it was an area where the material had chipped and become rough, either way the scratching stopped once the collars were removed.
