I bought this shirt based on a recommendation from a friend. WOW, it is awesome. I wore it for 4 straight days camping and canoeing in the Boundary Waters of Minnesota. The first two days were hot and sunny. This shirt prevented sunburn when I was paddling in direct sunshine but also kept me cool. At the end of the day, I wore it swimming to clean it up a bit. I was able to dry it out overnight and put it back on in the morning. Sometimes the canoe portages (trails between lakes where you carry your canoe) were full of mosquitoes. I kept the sleeves of the shirt buttoned which prevented bites. The shirt also protected me from ticks and scrapes while portaging. Our last day, it was rainy and cold. I wore the shirt as a bottom later under a fleece and raincoat. It is so comfy and the arms are cut long enough that it was easy to paddle while wearing it, even under all those layers. Prior to this purchase, I tried two other shirts like this one, but neither was comfortable when I bent my arms to paddle. My friends have the army green and white, both of which look great. In my opinion, this shirt is a great deal.
