I prefer the old-fashioned IBM full-size keyboard with number pad. This stand allows me to place my keyboard and mouse underneath when I'm not at my desk (away from my kitty's busy paws). Very few monitor stands can accommodate a large keyboard. I love the simplicity of this coaster I put together with a smooth finish and the bamboo matches my organizers. It's durable but not bulky. Easy to assemble with the included hex key. There are six screws in total and the holes are pre-drilled.
