Promising early results

[EDIT August 24, 2020 I have a few printouts at the time of my first review (July 8th). For this test, I printed 3 models with each resin blend: 100% Simple, Simple mixed with 30% Blu, and mixed with 50% Blu. They were all washed with 99% isopropyl alcohol, 20% isopropyl alcohol, and 35% vodka, then rinsed with tap water and cured with a UV lamp. To date I have had no problems with the "melting" as others have reported. I used the same settings as the Blu (pulled from the Anycubic Photon Google Sheet available from a number of enthusiast groups). 100% Simple is subjectively about as brittle as other standard resins. The 50% blend was a little sticky after washing/rinsing on non-99% iso washes and I didn't see a significant difference in subjective strength compared to the 30% blend. I noticed a noticeable increase in smell as I increased the amount of Blu. ] I'm a fan of Siraya Blu and when I heard about Simple I had to find out if the claims about low odor and cleaning with 15% alcohol are true. I was too excited to try it and downloaded the mockup with Blu settings without thinking twice and Simple printed beautifully. I also found that the smell was barely noticeable. I put the prints in my ultrasonic cleaner with about 20% isopropyl alcohol and erased them within three minutes. I was very pleased that there was no visible resin on the surface. Blu, on the other hand, often felt sticky despite being cleaned with 99% IPA. When the supports are removed, they feel stiffer and more brittle than Blu, but this resin doesn't claim to be strong. I'll try mixing it with Blu to see if it gains flexibility while maintaining its low viscosity and ease of cleaning. .
