I'm almost 40 and the skin around my eyes isn't as dense and elastic anymore. I have a lot more wrinkles and my eyelids look noticeably more closed than when I was young. I really feel like the natural colors and shadows in this palette make my eyes look younger and brighter (comparison photos attached without eye makeup and with these eyeshadows and mascara). They are truly matte and create flattering, natural shades even if you are over 24 years old. I've been using it for a few months now and it never settles into fine lines or wrinkles and I've never felt like it makes me look older. than me (which made me feel it with almost every other eyeshadow). I'm by no means a makeup expert and I don't have the time or inclination to watch makeup tutorials, so I just brush it off completely. The brushes in my photo are applied over the colors I use for my "natural" look (light brown for eyeshadow and eyeliner on the lower lashes and darker brown for the eyeliner on the upper lid). They come out very light at first, even on my pale skin, but you can very easily build up the color with one more brushstroke to get the shade you want. You can make them bolder than what I've shown just by adding a few more dabs of powder if you'd like. It's also easy to wash, which is great for me as I often get it wrong, but not great for you if you rub your eyes a lot or something. It has decent staying power, but towards the middle of the day I notice it fading. However, when I say fade, that's really what I mean. It doesn't start to wrinkle or peel off or anything like that. It just starts to disappear. All the other eyeshadows I've tried don't last all day either, but they look worse by the day. It still looks good even if it starts to fade. I don't like to spend a lot of time on makeup, but I think my eyes are my best feature and I like to give them a little attention to boost confidence. After a little practice, it only takes me a few minutes to apply it along with my favorite brown mascara (also pictured) to accentuate my eyes, time well invested in my book. This powder really is perfect for my needs and I'm so glad I found it! I can absolutely recommend it. I hope this helps you decide if this product is for you too!
