I wasn't sure at first, but I liked her. I have a Maltese that's under 10 pounds but has long claws and I've definitely had a hard time sizing these things. I was very lucky that I got it right on the first try! I have to wrap them pretty tightly around his legs to make them hold (mainly because otherwise the fur will let the rubber slip off). The pants seem to fit his foot better (I also ordered a "winter boot" style with a firmer sole) and allow him to walk more naturally. Of course he throws a tantrum when I put them on for the first time, but as soon as we step outside he happily runs forward. I bought these boots because he has so much hair around his paws that he gets the outside of them very dirty and then chews on them all the time. I wanted to prevent wet and dirty paws and thought this would help. They absolutely do. I really only use them in the rain but it's great to have a dry pawed dog who just went outside on a rainy day.
