I built the frame for this inverter 1" off the bottom of my truck and left a 3" gap above it to get plenty of cooling air, but it still literally fried when I did used it for the first time. I had a smaller one from Harbor Freight that didn't have the right frequency, but it was better to just use drill motors and pro saws. Due to 50Hz, it could not be used for refrigerators. That's why I bought the Power Tech 3000W because it was 60Hz. It came as a big surprise when it blew through with a small use of a 7 1/4 inch saw.
