Review on ๐ŸŒ๏ธ Golf Cart Battery Hold Down Kit for Club Car DS and Carryall Electric Vehicles (1998-2005) by Richard Nonya

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect fit for my old Club Car DS. I had to buy them for the first time.

I bought a new set of Trojan batteries from a golf cart dealer. It took three hours to drive to the dealer there and back. I only took old batteries and didn't take a trolley because of the drive and heavy traffic. While I was there I bought a new set of battery bolts, or so I thought. The dealer charged me $45 plus tax for 6 bolts. I returned home and installed the batteries in the car. The bolts were 1/4" too short to work. I called the dealer and told him they sold me the wrong battery bolts. It cost me $8 to return them. After he got them, he called me and said i owe him another 15 bucks because the bolts for my car are more expensive what could i do he had my bolts and my money he ended up sending me more bolts and when i got them they were two inches too long If I cut them shorter there wouldn't be enough thread for them to still work properly. Conclusion: I spent $68 on battery bolts and they still didn't work I didn't pay another $8 to send them back and then deal with that.again at the dealer.I found this kit at Revain that came with screws and plastic pieces that go through the batteries. The price was $38 and I just ordered them and prayed they rec had. I received them and they match the factory perfectly. Substitute. From my experience with the dealer, this seemed like a good deal. However, even at $38 it's pricey for what you get, but given the difficulty I've had finding the right screws, I'd order them the first time he knew.
