My wife and I have been restoring a car so I use them regularly and go through roll by piece in our garage. They are much stronger than regular kitchen paper towels, although my mother-in-law prefers them around the house and uses them to clean the house as she can wring them out and reuse them. They perfectly absorb and also do not crack with solvents, gasoline and acetone. They're probably not the best for washing windows as they sometimes leave streaks, but I still use them on our cars as they come in handy in the garage.
