After I received it I tested it and found it didn't work and soon repackaged it and sent it back. Dyson shows two different photos, one has slits on the left and right only and the other has slits on the front. Mine only has slits on the sides, which is different than what I expected. From the photos of the one that only has slits on the sides, I could imagine the mattress topper soaking up and plugging such a small slit on the sides. From that point of view I think the slits on the front would be the best design. Since the side slits are downright clogged when the mattress is retracted, it is difficult to push or pull when vacuuming. It's really hard to use. It has a lint remover and makes it even more difficult to reach across the mattress when vacuuming and it was only after a few strokes across the mattress that the lint remover started to come loose. The width of this tool is about 8 inches, which is too small to vacuum even a queen-size bed, you can't even use it for a single-sided mattress. Obviously overpriced and poor design apart from blurry promotional images.
