I spent all Saturday researching wallets. This is the best configuration as the cards are placed next to each other. Pop-up wallets are cool, but you still pack everything in one stack = thicker. Standard double folds are the same - essentially 1 stack when folded as all cards overlap, plus the added thickness of the card dividers. When folded, this wallet is two stacks side by side. Added bonus: It's the perfect size for a passport. My only complaint is that the cash lining could be a bit thinner. And the back pocket on the right side is just a big pocket so not good for maps but maybe good for. Notebook?
