If you're buying for convenience, choose something else.
Unfortunately, I'm not surprised. They will do, plus I love collecting Pioneer Woman, but to be honest they weren't very well designed. The holes on the bottom to fill them are covered with a small silicone plug which is good BUT I got stuck in the shaker more than once when trying to put them back on. It was a big pain, but not a big problem. Second, the holes in the top are almost too small for ground pepper - I really have to shake the pepper shaker to get just the right amount of pepper. Annoying, but I'll live. Otherwise heavy, durable and beautiful.
