First thing I have to point out is that each one requires 6 AAA batteries. I would like to know as I had to wait for the delivery of the batteries ordered. The good news is that they work very well for me and I have found that the peppers are particularly good and easy to control. The salt works well, but I can almost surgically tweak the settings for the pepper because it dissolves better and easier. The salt works fine, but I can't make it as small as I'd like, but I think it's due to the size of the salt I filled it with. The lighting is a very nice touch because it helps me show how much energy is coming out (especially at night). The fact that so many batteries are used is definitely a downside, but the brighter side of that is the fact that they seem to last a while for me. Salt is used a lot and I'm glad it doesn't burn through AAA. Pros: Easy to set up Good grind (pepper is best for me) Easy to spice up my food with little to no effort Pretty well made Reasonable cost Cons: Uses a lot of batteries for what it is
