I have a new car with leather interior and a German shepherd that sheds. This seat cover worked great when I recently took my dog to the vet. The cover is easy to fit - it fits around the headrests and is adjustable. I have a Honda Civic sedan and it covers the entire rear seat area and the side flaps are perfect for that. The cover material is non-slip and waterproof. My dog couldn't get through and protect my leather interior from her claws. All her fur landed on the seat cover, not on my seats or the floorboard. It was easy to remove from the car and I washed it in the car (following the instructions that came with it). I dried it and it cleaned up super. The only fur that was in my car was a small amount that fell on the floor when I removed the lid which I vacuumed lightly. This cover is good quality, fits most standard size sedans (I also tested it on our Toyota sedan and it fits the seats) and keeps your dog's fur and claws out of the interior. I would recommend this if your dog needs to ride in the car.
