I needed it for my professional work with graphics, and in this capacity it more than justified its purchase price. The Apple Pencil 1st Generation has fantastic functionality, however the charging process is cumbersome. It is also excellent for working with simple music programs, such as irig, which I did; because there is no latency, it is appropriate for playing the guitar in "marching" settings. Some advantages include: a quality iron - A beautiful screen - There is no air gap in the screen - An extensive collection of professional programs (drawing / music) - A 3.5mm audio output Various disadvantages: - An inadequate resolution for the screen - Anything that had to do with the "old design," including the camera, the fingerprint unlock, and the lighting.
