The amplifier features high power and low noise. The fan isn't as loud as I expected, but that's a necessary evil. Learn to live with it. The FM radio doesn't pick up stations very well, it only picks up local stations - at my location the annoying Mexican music station is very close and skips 4 or 5 stations and ruins other stations with great music. Selectivity and sensitivity are therefore mediocre. The stations that come are clear and quiet. The tone controls have a wide range and are quite effective. The subwoofer is very good and the controls work well. Requires an amplified subwoofer as the output is linear. MMC/USB and Bluetooth work very well. There is no memory button on the FM/AM radio part of the main unit, but there is a memory button on the remote control. Tune to a station, then press Save to save the station. It also scans and stores any stations that are strong enough to play without interference. You have to go through stations to get to the one you want. In view of the super low price, it gets 5 stars in my opinion. The remote control is very light but has volume and balance and a memory button and most other controls have buttons. Everyone thinks the performance for the price is very good. I am happy. The supplied instructions are very short and could be much better. But that increases the cost. The graphic display is nothing but a distraction as it does nothing but dance around the same thing all the time. Maybe a simple volume meter would be better. I hooked it up to two Yamaha NS-6490 speakers (purchased from Revain Prime) and it can overdrive them. The volume can easily fill a large space. For the price, this receiver can't be beat.
