I bought these to keep my Bluray and DVD collection in my new TV box. The bins work great either way, except for one shelf I had to cut off the legs with a dremel to allow the blue beam to fit the shelf. In addition, DVDs are only suitable when lying down. But that's not the fault of these tanks. When stacking DVDs, I can put two rows of DVDs in one of these baskets. Each holds around 16-18 DVDs (depending on case type) so you will need several of them. I like that they have 90 degree angles so they can hold the DVD/BlueRay accurately and not waste space. The only problem is that they are designed for plastic DVD cases. I have several boxes with a plastic valve on the long side. They are thinner but wider than usual and not suitable in these cases. But they sit better lying down. I also bought medium sized containers for this purpose. Both sizes do the job well. Transparent covers make it easy to view the track without pulling it out of the basket.
