Goal: Use to make caramel corn. Husband said that he'd make the trial batch. Thing is, the husband turned on the microwave timer to the max time indicated on the instructions, then proceeded to walk away. My rule is never walk away from popping corn, because you need to listen to the popping corn and turn off, when popping really slows down, regardless of instructions(!). Well, the entire bottom of this container was full of burnt popcorn. Heads-up: Microwave ovens vary in power, etc. Please don't walk away from one in operation or your popcorn may burn. If it's burnt on the bottom, the rest will taste like it, too.
