. I bought this knowing I had to reinforce the straps where the D rings were because other people said they snapped. I took this to a very famous Italian leather shop in Sacramento and discovered it was NOT real leather! This craftsman comes straight from Italy and has been repairing leather goods all his life. He did the repairs for me but he confirmed more than once that this bag is not real leather!
