This is the second and third unit of this recorder I've bought in the last 10 years and I've never bought one disappointed with it. In any case, I'm a big fan of Sony. I use this device as a backup audio recorder when filming projects. My son uses it to take lectures at the university. They're durable, small, fit in an empty pocket, and the sound quality is amazing. It's also a definite workhorse. Love the fact that it has a lavalier headphone input and an in-ear monitor output. With that simple push of a button, you can have one device that can be used for a variety of applications and settings. Two thumbs up for this product!
