This works for gardens and pots

I purchased this to mix into the dirt I have in a raised bed. I know it's more expensive than bags of dirt, but the benefits of drainage you cannot get with regular dirt you can purchase. Its easy to add the water, and you can see it expand. Depending on how much drainage you want, you may need more than one of these bricks for a raised bed. The product does not have a bad smell, or a chemical smell.

Great for lining bottom of hanging baskets or window boxes.....helps with keeping plants not drying out.

Cons

Requires the addition of other nutrients for optimal plant growth
