People who whine and complain that this TV only works on 115 volt AC are wrong! It's actually a "12 volt DC, 18 watt" TV. It comes with a 115 volt AC to 12 volt DC adapter. Seller's ad says it is 12 volt 'compatible', not 12 volt 'ready'. All you have to do is buy a 12 volt power cord (see photo) and it's ready for 12 volts. People who berate the seller and claim this is a 115 volt TV need only retract their false reviews. In any case, this TV works perfectly in my motorhome from 12 volts DC. The sound is quite decent for a small TV with built-in speakers. I use this TV in my van's dining area to watch the morning news with my coffee. I have another big TV for movies.
