The shoes themselves seem well made, nice enough and fairly comfortable. This is probably a good choice for real races with solvents, heat, slippery surfaces and real pedals. But for sim racing, I found I actually had better heel/toe pedal feel when downshifting with a lot less shoes, like the well-worn road mok I already had. I love RaceQuip and wanted to try it for both "diving" and sim work; The diving part is great but for the way I do sim racing it binds my ankles and I have less flexibility than I need. All in all a great shoe but more protection than I needed and not enough flexibility.
