When the kitten lets go of the ball, the rubber band comes loose and can hit the kitten. The ball is heavy. As soon as that happened I put the ball away for her to play with and she loves it (except for the feathers because she eats them). Now she LOVES a stick with a rubber band! I move her and she will chase her until I stop. She knows which drawer it is in and will sit over it and try to open it. For $4.99 I found a creative way to make it worth the money. I'll take another one and do the same with it. :)
