It may be expensive but it is a very good rectifier. I like that it's small and easy to hold - it's not heavy so easy to use if you have long or thick hair that takes a long time to straighten. The best part is that it adjusts to the thickness of your hair. I think these are floating plates and why are they more expensive. I have no problems with it sticking to my hair or tugging at individual hairs - it's very comfortable to use and heats up quickly. I like its size because it's easy to carry since it doesn't take up much space. You have to be careful because it's very hot and you have to be careful where you put it or you might burn your hand. Overall I like it but I think it should be around half the price. It's good, but not for $200.
