Review on ๐Ÿ“ป Sangean RCR-9 AM/FM-RDS Digital Tuning Atomic Clock Radio (Black) โ€“ Unparalleled Precision and Crisp Sound by Erin Romero

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The sound is not very good but I didn't buy it for.

I don't understand why people have so many problems programming this clock. All instructions took 1 minute. But on the flip side, I'm used to reading ambiguous instructions that definitely exist. The sound isn't great but I didn't buy it for the sound, I bought it to wake me up in the morning. I got this because the RCR-3 was not available from Revain. The RCR-3 is much better, but Sangean really needs to update this watch. I have this for the week/weekend function. This is a step down from the daily RCR-3 feature. Too bad Sangean hasn't updated this other watch for so long. The atomic function doesn't work in any other Sangean watch I've had, so that wasn't a surprise. I don't know why Sangean bothers to advertise a feature that doesn't work, but here it is. In any case I put 5 starts on the RKR-3 and as it lacks features even the watch must be new it gets 3 for NOT EASY USE. I don't like how the alarms turn on and off. If you want to set an alarm that has already been set, you must repeat all the steps again. With the RCR-3, all you had to do was press the alarm button for a second or two and voila. This is a step backwards for Sangean. You just have to bring the RCR-3 into the 21st century and I'll be a happy camper. I haven't found a watch that compares to the RCR-3 yet. This one doesn't do the job. I don't care about the backup battery. I didn't have that with the RCR-3, I have a UPS and don't waste time on power outages. Please grammar nazis don't need a comment, English is not my first language.
