I don't usually write reviews but the quality of these needles just needs to be checked. At first I knitted with relatively new KnitPick Nickel dp (0) needles, which bent quickly. Not enough to be ineffective, but enough to be annoying. These tiny needles are 100% straight and beautiful. Second, while they're almost as smooth as nickel (which I need as a very tight knitter), they have enough friction that I never accidentally pull the needle all the way out. Third, I was initially concerned about the blunter point of these needles compared to my KnitPicks. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to easily insert the needle into the stitch. I was pleasantly surprised, on the contrary, they worked well in this regard, I rarely caught an incomplete stitch, and my odd way of knitting is more comfortable because I run the tip over my finger with each stitch. I don't think I'll ever want to go back to my old needles. The old ones are functional, but these look luxurious.
