Not safe, breaks easily.
I've been wearing amber necklaces for 10 years. I purchased this item for my 3 month old preterm grandson. I am very disappointed in the durability of this item. A 3 month old should not be able to break it. A little jerk and the lock clicked. I've only had it for 1 month!
