I bought this saw blade for a Makita 611 18V lithium-ion circular saw because the standard Makita blades did not make good straight and angle cuts. My friend swears by Freud's blades, so at this price point (which is very reasonable) I decided to take a chance and see if all the hype is backed up by the results. First, it works very well in a cordless saw. Where a standard blade stumbles or slows, this blade cuts through without a blow. Second, the cuts are consistent and precise regardless of the cut - be it angled, crisscross, or straight - giving you a perfect cut every time. Third, I was impressed with the low level of dust generation compared to other blades and saws - the dust is still there, of course, but the design of the blade doesn't allow it to fly into the field of view as much and directs it under the cut. Pop up. As with any cordless saw, you should be aware of the limitations of your saw and, in most cases, work slightly slower than with a standard corded saw. If you know what you're doing with your cordless circular knife, then this blade is second to none.
