I would highly recommend Black Vox to anyone who needs to record conversations remotely.
I bought this because it was said it could record conversations from 28ft away. I needed it at a distance of 5-25 feet. It easily recorded conversations from a distance of 1.50 m. When I tested it at 25 feet, it didn't start recording. After reviewing the manual, I realized that I could change the sensitivity to start recording at lower noise levels. So I set the sensitivity to max (+2) and it picks up conversations at 25 feet away.
