Although the photos show a sturdy bag with sharp corners, this holder has softer sides. It's only slightly insulated. Not quite what I expected. Even with ice packs, it doesn't keep your drinks cold for long, although it's enough to carry 4 bottles of wine. The "separator" is held in place by Velcro strips, prevents bottles from banging together, and you can remove it if you want to carry a gallon around with something. Or you can put glasses or bottles in it to take to a party or picnic. We bought it mainly because of its small size. fits my feet perfectly next to us to keep drinks easily accessible.
