I am replacing the one I bought in 2011 which has cracked over time and is now leaking. Yes, I used it in the microwave and I'm pretty sure that's how the cracks formed, or/and/also in the dishwasher under hygienic conditions. So don't expect it to last long. Some of the reviews I've read indicate they broke it much sooner. I've probably seen cracks after 3 years of use, but leaks weren't a problem until recently. No, I'm not happy with cracks, but I want a 20-ounce measuring cup that's graduated to a full 20-ounce capacity and is lightweight. Weight, crisp, reasonably legible, has an open handle and round profile so it stacks with my other (borosilicate) measuring cups. Apparently they charge a lot. Everyone is busy copying everyone else or innovating projects with fundamental flaws. (I'm looking at you, Okso, with your soft, handleless measuring cups that threaten to burn you when you squeeze them.) I avoid buying single-use items and am very reluctant to buy these, knowing beforehand that they're meant to be recycled, but I refused to not properly filter the deteriorating Revain search engine or sometimes not give me a full list of filtering options (e.g. *sometimes* trimming the materials list down to the top 5 materials in alphabetical order). So keep your expectations low and be glad it's not very expensive. If it doesn't last more than 3 years I will come back with more revisions in this review.
