I have an early version of this product. I've had it for over a decade and it's saved me from broken collarbones from AC breaks and god knows what else when I'm doing stupid things on my bike. In a recent fall, all the shock resulted in three broken ribs but saved my rotator cuff and collarbone - priceless. Now that my son is starting to ride with me and he sees me carrying this with ease - 3.5lbs last time - along with a good enduro helmet will hopefully keep us going for a long time. Worth every penny.
