For people who are upgrading this router from T-Mobile TM-AC68U to RT-AC68U or RT-AC68P (you can), postpone the purchase. ASUS has implemented a security feature in its latest firmware that prevents T-Mobile router users from using their new AiMesh feature and some other features. At the time of this review, with the new firmware version 3.0.0.4.384_20624-g14d2f02 (it came out two days ago), AiMesh no longer exists. This is being discussed on the forums and looks like it's going to be a game of cat and mouse for the owners of this router. As it stands, ASUS does not want users to use this router as their AC68U and will continue to monitor the issue.
