Bought for my mother. She has a pad and a foot bypass. I have to change the bandage on her wound daily, which makes it impossible to wear regular shoes with a bandage. For several months she wore surgical black sandals with Velcro straps. I decided to try these. They fit perfectly and allow you to put a pair of shoes back on. She loves them because she can move and adjust them unaided. Pink is a beautiful neutral color that goes with everything she wears. They are strong but flexible. She can't stop talking about how beautiful they are and wants them to be colors other than black. There is enough room in the toe area for a bandage without looking bulky and clunky. We love her. Incidentally, thanks to the Velcro adjustment, she manages to put on another boot.
