I bought this for my car to see if I wanted this display on my windshield. Pros: Displays speed Displays RPM Displays mileage Displays water temperature Displays compass Displays other readings HDPlug and Play display GPS compatible OBDII ONLY available for 2008 and later vehicles Disadvantages: Leveling is not easy HUD is not excellent What I got in the package: 1 x ECOOLBUY S7 Car Universal HUD 1 x Silicone Adhesive Pad 1 x OBDII Power Adapter 1 x Transparent HUD Reflective Sheet 1 x User Manual This ECOOLBUY S7 Car Universal HUD product is not that bad. It can use some improvements. But overall it's not that bad. The 12-page manual is relatively intuitive and clear. The product seems to be of decent quality, but the module is larger than I expected. Aligning the module and reflective sheeting can be a little tricky. If you move the module for cleaning or it just moves, you will need to realign the module. Getting it right can be a bit of a chore. In addition, it is difficult to make the reflective sheet completely smooth. Too bad you don't have a match if you get it wrong the first time. What I did. So mine is just a little crooked. I hate that I can't fix it. The module itself worked fine in GPS mode, but obviously the readings aren't coming directly from the car's processor, so the readings you can get won't be that accurate. But very close within a few miles per hour, or it could just be a lag between the satellite and the device. Of all the modes, night mode is the clearest and brightest. Day mode is the worst, fading from the sunlight hitting the windshield. Bad weather is okay, but better than bright sunshine. Out of all the features I was hoping for a better compass which my car doesn't have. The compass is so small that sometimes it is difficult to determine the direction. especially in bright sunshine. I also have a relatively flat windshield, but I can see how you can get some distortion when cornering. I found the reflective foil adequate but not great. It reflects the image of the module well, but it's not as clear as I had hoped. I couldn't find any guarantees in either the product info or the timing description. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. In general, an interesting technique. I was hoping for more but it turned out to be a little above average. Unfortunately, this device only seems to be useful in the evening. Color and brightness are good so far. Clarity can take some work, and the compass is barely passable. It's not bad, but it's not good either. This product is made in China.
