Basically, you throw a satin rope over your head and secure it at the end of your hair with a claw-shaped clip, leaving the ends hanging behind your ears like pigtails. Then, divide your hair into two sections and wrap them around a satin braid. You can braid the braid first before wrapping it; Not me. Oh, and you should spray your hair with some water first before rolling it up. Once you've wrapped them, secure the ends with satin ribbons. They also hold up very well while sleeping. The satin tube rope is also very comfortable for sleeping, especially when you sleep on your back. You can remove the braids behind your head if you sleep on your side. This special rope is filled with cotton or fiberfill; other manufacturers have hard foam, which is not very comfortable. That was my other. I was able to get it on my hair in minutes so it's pretty quick. It lasted all night, gently ruffling my long, thin, straight hair. Next time I might try braiding first. It arrives in a light colored pouch with a holographic zip. After recovering from the blinding light, the bag turned out to be pretty cool. This is a thick vinyl with a quality metal zipper and even a tab to hold the end of the zipper. Accessories fit neatly inside for storage. And it's waterproof, so good for the bathroom.
