Effective. I rarely write reviews but this product is worth it. Cca-c12 is an amazing $50 deal. I've had several in-ear monitors and this is one of the most effective. I use an ifi nano Black Label DAC to power them. The detail is impressive. I hear details of songs I've never heard before. The bass and subwoofer are tight and have plenty of power when needed. Even the mids and highs are amazing. By plugging directly into a laptop, some detail was lost and the sound wasn't as musical. So it's best to use them with a DAC when they shine. and it will be impossible to beat $50. To me they sound more detailed than my flc 8 which sells for 350. Tldr: Buy now and use a DAC for the best sound. great stuff
