For 600r I will buy a licensed game for a computer, equipped with translation, cool graphics, with clear textures, support for any resolution, and I will be able to play even from the keyboard, even from the steering wheel.
Why am I paying 2,500r? for muddy graphics and lack of even elementary subtitles? (Skyrim, as an example). So it turns out that a prefix is ​​bought for literally a few exclusives, the rest of the time gathering dust behind the closet. Saves her only the ability to play Blu-ray discs.

Pros

So: 1) Can play Blu-ray discs. Accordingly, you can not only play, but also watch movies. 2) The presence of games and genres that either do not exist or are poorly represented on the PC. (for example, fighting games and slashers) 3) A large number of more or less high-quality exclusives of different genres. 4) Free PSN service. 5) Convenient gamepad. If you are going to play fighting games, only PS3 will do. (and I just took it for this)

Cons

1) The price of the games. 2,500r for a disk is not serious. Well, you can, of course, take used ones or wait for price drops, promotions or sales. But this does not help the situation. 2) Objectively worse graphics quality than on an average PC. 3) The lack of real support for Full HD in games, 720p is the best, but even this resolution is not supported by all games. 4) Inconvenient control in shooters. 5) Very few games are translated into 2022. Actually, the first and last points do not allow us to call the console even a competitor for the PC in 2022. At best, an addition.
