Not quite darkened back
I have previously ordered a 35 watt version of this bulb and it has worked well. Unfortunately all 6 of the 50 watt version had the problem that the black coating at the base wasn't thick enough to prevent light leakage. We use this type of lamp to illuminate artwork and didn't want to be distracted by backlighting or see-through, but they have this problem. I had to send everyone back.
